In General. We may collect personal information that can identify you such as your name and email address and other information that you provide to us. We may also collect information that does not identify you. When you provide personal information through our website, the information may be sent to servers located in the United States and other countries around the world.
Information about others. We may also collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us. If you use our website to send others (friends, relatives, colleagues, etc.) a product as a gift, information that may interest them, invitations or messages through our system, we may store your personal information, and the personal information of each such recipient. We use guests' contact information to allow them to respond to and comment on your OurEvents® invitation. We may send an automatic Reminder to guests, and, at your request, we may send additional Reminders and Annoucements to guests, other event related information and we may display their email addresses to other guests of the same event. We also may send post-event emails to the host and guests. We use the information you provide in your Reminders to send it to you and others to whom you have requested it be sent. Other than as described in this Policy we will not intentionally sell or otherwise disclose guest contact information you submit to any third party. We may also collect guests' contact information in order to provide certain services through our Site.
You may delete your name from the guest list by setting your RSVP numbers on the invitation page to zero before the end time of the event. You have the option of canceling any volunteer commitments you have made for the event within 30 days of the end of an event. Once your name is removed from the guest list, it will no longer be accessible to other guests besides those who have manager privileges over the event (unless you are subsequently invited to another party, in which case your name will be accessible to guests of the new event). If you join a private online community or one of the community's rooms (which have their own listing of events), that community or group member may keep a record of your contact information (such as name and email address) and activities even after you discontinue your membership although you will no longer receive any emails sent to members of that community or community rooms after your membership to the community or community rooms has been discontinued. However, members of communities and rooms may continue to have access to online directory information, survey responses, forums posts, and other communications that you provided to them before discontinuing your membership.
